COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We humbly offer you Feral One, Batch Two on the occasion of our second anniversary. Feral One is an annual blend of our best efforts, from hand-selected well-aged barrels, chosen by the Masterblender and Barrelmeister. An earthy funky nose gives way to complex ester notes of dried apricots, strawberry, guava and slight orange zest. Toasted mature oak, lavender, vanilla and cinnamon lurk in the background. A mouth-watering acidity and soft tannins are punctuated by a firm carbonation. Savor now, or age longer for a special occasion. A Santé!

Feral One, Batch Two is a blend of: 43% Agrestic, 43% Vintage Solace Wild Wheat Ale, 14% Lil’ Opal

Pours a clear golden with a foamy rim that leaves spotty lacing. Nose is of buttery oak, wine and grapes. Pretty fun. Taste is winey and moderately tart. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Sourish oak finish. Vinous of course. Overall I thought it was good but it could certainly use more complexity as currently it is pretty much centered on the acid.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2017 bottle shared by tom10101, thanks brah. slightly hazy light copper-orange pour with a small off-white cap offering some retention and lacing. lots of grapes, apples, tasty strawberries as well, overly tender peaches, wine buttery barrels, underlying caramel, light acidity - citric and acetic peaks; some sweetness - golden grapes. moderate carbonation, light body, slightly unbalanced tart woodsy-spicy finish. almost feels like a grape/raisin tart ale. o-k. (miles behind batch one)

This has faded from its peak about 6 months ago. At its peak this beer was a 4.4-4.5 beer. Still a really good AWA but on the down.
