Poured from 650mL bottle (2016 - No. 001). Black with tan head. Vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, light roast malt, and a hint of soy sauce and smoke. Almost a syrupy texture, alcohol mostly hidden.

To start, this is an Imperial Porter which is not part of the entry's title. Delicious and worth buying again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Malt and Vine. Nearly black with little head. Aroma of burnt chocolate. Taste the same. Some smokiness. Medium body.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is very earthy upfront, with notes of feet, BO,earthy notes and wood - can’t shake the feet and BO notes. Flavour is thankfully a lot better, with lots of earthy notes, what taste like rye barrels, and a little vanilla. The nose really messes this up for me. I’m going to be a dink rater on this one and say I’m not impressed - while the taste is fairly pleasant, the aromatics intrude on the enjoyment on this.
