Tap at Cap Tap. Pours a dark brown that’s light than most dark browns. Beige/tan head. Aroma seems dark stone fruit - more cherry than plum. Med body or so. Flavor is tart and noticeably acidic. But very smooth and mellow. Wood notes. Hints of Brett. Not getting lacto immediately. It belches cherry. This is wow stuff. Hits all the flavor notes one could wish without ripping out the mouth. Exceptionally tasty/delicious and excellent. Please sir, may I have another?

mcberko (19175) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 23, 2015
375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out tart funky notes, a little wood and some berry-like pithy notes. Flavour is tart and pithy, with oak, tart red fruits and a little wood. Finishes oaky and woody. Not on the level of some other Firestone Walker stuff, but this is very enjoyable.
