I love Stout’s. This Oatmeal Stout is just terrific. It’s hard to imagine that Stout is not the most popular style in the world. Is it? TimE (6176) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 24, 2013
dark brown color, light brown head. Roasted malts, uber hoppy nose, smells like a bag of weed, very head. Light body lots of some roastiness that is overwhelmed by hops. Still maintains some semblence of balance. Big bitter finish with no roastiness. Awesome. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Tap @ Holiday Ale Fest... Poured black with a bubbly, khaki head. Citrus and pine, resinous hop notes on the nose also with a hint of roast. Hop notes continued through in the flavor. Resinous and earthy. Mildly drying, good amount of sweetness for balance too. Some dark fruit with a lot of citrus. Like a really good CDA. VastActiv (7662) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2013
Tap at Baileys Taproom, Portland. Colour is black with slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Very nice. douglas88 (9721) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 7, 2013
On tap at the Holiday Ale Festival, 2013. Pours a deep brown color with a large tan head. A nice fruity nose, some citrus, cocoa and dark chocolate. The flavor is more robust fruity hops, oatmeal, some dry cocoa, medium roast. Great beer for 5.5%. Nice.
