COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

kansascityCW (136) - kansas city, Missouri, USA - MAY 20, 2014
Hazy yellow color on the pour. White head that dissipated very quickly. Aroma isn’t the best; banana, touch of clove, and unfortunately, some kind of medicinal, almost vegetable smell. Taste is much better. No veggies, but a light pepper flavor, some citrus, clove. Average body that doesn’t really pop. Overall I’m a little let down by this beer, but it’s not too bad. Would probably pass on purchasing again, even at the $6.19 price I got the bomber for.

Rating #2778 - 2016.08.29 - Bottleshare at CBI. Pours a golden yellow with a carbonated white foam that goes on for days Aroma is mild traditional saison yeast funk, mild floral lavender, citrus. Palate is actually quite sweet, lots of floral lavender notes, as well as a sticky sweetness. Mild sour note from the yeast. Light, sweet, and crushable.

tmoreau (4743) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - DEC 19, 2017
Shared bomber poured to snifters showing a hazed, golden hue, with fizzy, white froth, and some web-like lacing. The nose was ripe fruit, citrus as orange & lemon, and spice that included an odd mixture of earthiness, menthol & phenols. Light to medium bodied, with low carbonation that presented just a bit of fizz, some thinning texture, and subtle dryness, the flavor was fruitier than most Saisons that I've tried, but this one was cellared too long, lost any tartness, and was well past the fresh point.

A central coast saison sets itself apart from some of the best I prefer from the east coast. Fresh stone fruit, fresh hay, light pepper, lemon, raw bread dough, and some citrus and grass. All work in an incredible blend that doesn’t compete but shines in one way or another.
