COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Clear gold color with an exquisite head of creamy sustainable white foam. Crisp floral and juciy lemon and orange flavors and aromas. A delicate and easygoing biscuit malt base. A real standard setter in the pale ale category.

Pours a clear Blonde. White small head that dissipates pretty quick. Light hoppy pale

Part of a pick-6 from Wegman’s. Aroma of floral hops. Taste is nicely balanced.

Idealnie klarowne, złote piwo z białą puszystą pianą. W aromacie przyjemne iglaki i słodkie owoce. W smaku również iglaki, słodkie owoce, delikatna kwiatowość, bardzo niska goryczka. Piwo typowo sesyjne, smaczne i orzeźwiające.

Another can from the mix pack. Pours out a clear light golden color. Thin body and flavor profile. Quite boring.

Bottle. Pale yellowy gold in colour. Hoppy (floral and piney hops). Fruity (grapefruity-citrus). Malty base (caramel & toffee). Sweet fruity. Dry hoppy finish. Very drinkable. (2008)

helloranges Ale mit feinem Schaum. Typisch Blumiger Duft. Feines Hopfenaroma. Trotz mittlerer Bitterkeit ist es ein angenehm mildes Pale Ale, ausgewogener Geschmack.

355ml bottle into shaker. Caramel malt nose with background fruity hops. Amber, thin head with a slight haze. Taste is clean and fruity. Light and zingy body. Finish is initially earthy hops then a little malt, eventually a lingering bitterness remains. Not bad.

12oz can. Suffers some from age and being in a can, which mutes the hops some to me and adds a plastic feel. A pretty solid APA. Very classical, none of that new school tropical peach apricot guava action. Classic NW bitterness, very West Coast minded. Quite sessionable, but with enough depth to remain interesting. Well made.

Clear gold pour with nice sized white head. . Nose of some citrus and pine. Taste follows with a light hop bitterness. Light, dry body, with great texture. Classic easy drinking pale ale.
