COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

On tap at Teresa's next door. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a very pale light golden. A few fingers of head and a wee bit o lacing. Mild grassy aroma. Mouthfeel is light but way too carbonated. Taste is grass and bubblegum. A little dirt too. Overall, meh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma Is mostly pine and reminds me of a wet hopped ale. The taste is very crisp with some straw, grass, and a nice hoppy citrus finish.

Bright yellow-orange, very clear, great head. Smells very hoppy for a pale ale, citrus fruits like lemon and orange come to mind. Flavor is more of the same but this is not an IPA, it feels lighter in body and so easy to drink. I think I found my new go to pale ale because this has less alcohol than Sierra Nevada and I might just prefer the hop profile, great stuff.

Bottle. Clear, beautiful golden colour with a soapy white head. Fresh aroma of raisins, grapes citrus and coriander. Flavour is fresh bitter, decent amount of hop character and very easy drinkable. Medium body and carbo but really refreshing and thirst quenching. If I had better access to this, I would defintely stock my fridge with it. Very nice APA.

This pours a beautiful gold with a hazy head. The aroma is bright and citrusy with a faint smell of crusty bread... think San Francisco sourdough. The flavor is spot on for a California pale: bold hops with their piney bitterness, but nothing big or overbearing. It's a crisp, balance and refreshing beer.
