Bottle, 4,8%. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus and peach. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, peach, little sweet and medium bitter. mcberko (17155) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 11, 2015
12 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Nose brings out pleasant floral hops, some tropical fruits, and some earthy herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp crackery malt, floral hops, a light tropical fruitiness and some herbal notes. Very fresh and crisp body. A pleasant pale ale that is quite drinkable. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 9, 2013
On tap at Firestone Walker Taproom, Buellton. A clear golden beer with a dense, finger thick off-white head. The aroma is grassy and piney, like smelling a hop pellet. Some tropical fruits and sweetish pale malts too. The flavor has a nice bitterness, along with the other hoppy things found in the aroma. Some sweetness. Full to medium body, velvety. Long finish. A nice one, although a bit simple. 130809 brokensail (16432) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 4, 2011
A: The pour is a hazed golden orange color with a sticky white head and nice lacing.
S: Smells a bit sweet, but there’s plenty of citrus and even a few tropical fruit notes. Mild grass with a nice pine note to it as well as a light floral scent. Some bready malt gives a little body.
T: Like the nose, it’s a bit sweet, but it works fine for a pale ale. Lots of citrus hops (especially orange and tangerine, a little less grapefruit). Some pine bitterness as well as a little bit of floral character.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: I really like this beer, a solid pale ale that I know will pretty much always be good. Dedollewaitor (16055) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 9, 2013
Bottle @ Das Meisterstuck, Berlin. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Grapefruit, citrus and bready malts. Smooth, dry and balanced. Nice.

660ml bottle (Birofilia2014, Zywiec)MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 13, 2013
Zesty lemon spice, lemongrass aroma. Thin palate, perfumed soap and floor cleaner lemon and sweetness. Works in the aroma, but is boring after that.
Bottle, 4.9%. Very piney aroma. Clear shiny yellow colour. Big plasticky but stable white head. The flavour is also piney, but mostly teaish, like those teaish sweets. Caramelly tea, I guess. But balanced off by a good bitterness. Benzai (15433) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 6, 2013
Sampled at CBC 2013. Clear yellow color, small white to off-white virtually non lacing, mostly diminishing head. Smell lightly malts, lightly bitter, lightly hops. Tastes about the same. No flaws, but a bit boring although that may be caused by the amount of big beers available at the festival. Tastes also a bit thin, but that could very well have the same reason. Would like to try it again sometime on a hot summer day. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2012
Bottle at Das MeisterStuck, Berlin. Clear golden - white head. Toasted. Lots of resin. Knækbrød. Fruity hoppy. Ok botterness. Lovely freshness. I love this. bhensonb (15079) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Tap at Hopmonk. Pours amber with a fruity/floral aroma. It tastes hoppy in an Over the Pond way. Flavor is lightly spiced in the finish. Drinks very well.

Aroma of evergreen and grapefruit. Maybe a little malt. Light golden amber color with a white head that didn’t linger. Starts with light to medium mouthfeel, with dilute grapefruit and pine hop. Underlying caramel malt. Nice bitterness in the finish.
