Bardzo dobre piwo, znakomicie pachnace 4 chmielami (Fuggle, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook), Takze kilka slodow do tego lekko zamglone, piana srednia, i srednio utrzymuje sie na powierzchni, ale jest drobnoziarnista i mocno przywiera do szklanicy i tworzy koronki, wspanialy nad nia jest ten aromat chmielny. Pours pale golden with a super tiny white head. Smells rather simple, but pleasant; soft malt character with some subtle California style hoppings. Taste is directly bitter with hints of sweetness on the back end. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Firestone Walker Pale 31 finishes with a drying bitterness that calls for another drink. aecoryn85 (13) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Appearance: Pours a bright pale orange-yellow color.
Smell: Got a great combo of pale malt and citrus notes.
Taste: A great american pale ale with hops coming in first and then finishing a very creamy well balanced pale ale. Refreshing.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium carbonation that is very smooth.
Overall: A flawless and refreshing take on american pale ales not having to be hoppy or bitter. Will buy again. JohnRMurdoch (4986) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 6, 2015
12oz bottle from Hippo Beers. Golden orange, good head. Corn hop aroma. Grains resin hop flavour. Understated and well balanced. Light and refreshing. A very well balanced beer. dwyerpg (6286) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 25, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2008 Original score 4.0 Another fine-smelling ale from Firestone Probably one of the hoppier pale ales available (also not really that pale). The hoppiness is bubbly and lofty, kinda like Loft from Fat Tire. Leaves a long-lasting tingly-ness around your entire mouth. Two for two so far from this brewery (that I’ve had).
Had again as Pale 31, not knowing that it was the same beer.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2012 Pours a nice copper color with a good white head. A sweet fruity hoppy scent and taste that is citrusy, sweet and damn good. IPAsavedMYlife (346) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - JAN 15, 2009
Out of the bottle from a liquor store near LAX. Pours a beautiful clear golden orange. Slight carbonation, slightly off-white head. Filtered. What a palate, much like Sierra Nevada but more robust. The lower alcohol content is quite suprising. Fantastic Pale Ale. Cheers!! 7837 (6) - Alabama, USA - APR 13, 2012 does not count
This is what I remember beer to be: from my Anchor Steam beginnings of my youth to my Pliny the Elder hop-head tendencies (and when spending $5 or $6 for a bottle of beer made sense). 30 years ago this might have been considered a bold American beer but in 2012 this is simply great beer. greatscott75 (21) - California, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Pours a golden-amber with a amazing 2 finger head from a 12oz bottle. Nose is a mild sweet pine. Taste is what you would expect of a fine IPA. Balanced hops with malt finish. Great IPA. Popschoppers (6) - Alabama, USA - OCT 2, 2012 does not count
On tap at Far Bar in Little Tokyo (downtown Los Angeles). Clean, clear, crisp, hoppy and sessionable.
