Restrained aroma in an inky black pour. Amazingly laid back flavor profile with cocoa, coffee, caramel, and vanilla (to name a few). Enjoyed on draft at Pine Box, Seattle, with Matt. From notes. I believe this was left over from their anniversary party. All I know is that I was both surprised and happy to run into it. Hoping for this beer to be super smooth, it wasn’t quite. Very boozy all together for me. A ton of chocolate and straight bourbon on the nose. Chocolate, vanilla, caramel, and sweet, boozy bourbon flavor. An absolute sipper for me to say the least. If bourbon is your go to, this is incredible. I can’t complain too much. Near black with cocoa head. Aroma is pretty balanced...slightly Barrel forward. Coffee, malted chocolate, roast, light vanilla. Flavor gets a touch hot as it reaches room temp, but damn this is pretty dialed in and delicious. Both friends I shared it with gave it 5/5 on the uncrappd. I’m not that generous, but it’s worthy of a very high 4.5.

Pours a deep brown with tan head. Chocolate and vanilla-Bourbon aroma. Smooth and chocolatey, blending to a vanilla Bourbon and coffee roast finish. Complex but the flavors blend seamlessly.

Mbcc yellow. Black. Dark roasty nose, some coffee, woody maltyness. Med full bodied, goood syrupy molassy sweetness, roasty, intense flavour. Smooth, long, but still kinda drinkable RIS.
