COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Everything we love about classic German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.

It has a straw color with a white head. Head retention is excellent. It has a grainy sweet aroma with flowery elements and a bit of honey in the background. It is grainy sweet in the flavor with floral elements. It is very clean, dry and crisp. It is moderately bitter overall. It has a moderately light body with high carbonation. Overall, a good malt presentation and hops. The dry finish is accentuated by the high carbonation.

Can. Light metallic flavour alongside the malt, but tastes classic German pilsner. A decent beer as pilsners go, but of course limited by the fact its a pilsner.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2017 Can. Hops very nice and fit the slight sweetness of the malt. Very faint Pilsner flavor however, not sure which malt was used but not as distinctive as European Pilsner.

Bottle, [email protected], Flensborg. Pours clear golden with a small, staying creamy white head. Aroma has crisp sweet malts, very clean. Good grassy a d light citrussy hops. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has very nice hoppiness, good malty sweetness, grass, floral, citrussy. A very distinct bitterness with very little chalkiness. Very nice.
