COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Everything we love about classic German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.

12 ounce can from Everett’s in South Beloit, IL, served a few minutes out of the fridge in a Christoffel glass. Pours a pale but rather bright clear, lightly bubbly gold with an impressive smooth white head that decays with moderate speed and laces a bit...aroma is more spicy and herb-inflected than most, though pale malt and fresh grass predominate like you might expect (and hope); nicely done but not as potent as I might want...on the tongue it’s lightly to moderately bitter, becoming rather strongly bitter by the finish, with a very light even malt sweetness running throughout, enough to give it quite a nice balance with the bitterness but never becoming doughy as happens a bit too often with pils...full but refreshing and light-enough body, moderate carbonation. This is pretty solid though for me probably not top-flight.

Gyllengul öl med ett medelstort vitt skum. Doften är citrus, blommighet och säd. I smaken tillkommer en viss gräsighet. En helt okej pilsner.

ccex (1351) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 18, 2017
12 oz can pours a clear golden color with frothy white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is not strong, but has grass, biscuits, honey, and floral hops. Body is light with lively carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. This is a very refreshing, easy-to-drink pilsener.

Clear blonde, with a small white head and some traces of lacing. Nicely carbonated. Nose is fruity and floral. Taste has a nice touch of lemongrass alongside the pilsner malts. Great lager.

17Beer (405) - Connecticut, USA - APR 4, 2017
Hops and yeast and malty aromas. Pours a pale yellow with a slightly rocky persistent white head. Lacing. Grassy malty flavors with a sharp short finish that is very crisp. Above average carbonation. A solid, well made Pils.
