COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Everything we love about classic German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.

Clear gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy white head that has excellent retention and leaves great lacing. Aroma of toast, cereal and bready malt, floral, perfumey citrus and spicy hops. Flavor is slightly sweet and toasty up front, leading into some sweet grassiness, hay, lots of cereal, nice, spicy, light citrus and floral hop notes a little earthiness and lingering toast bring up the finish. Light body, neutral to off dry feel throughout with a soft, blanketing carbonation that seems to sharpen pleasantly as the body dries on each swallow. Really good stuff, very tasty and decently refreshing, the perfumey citrus is an interesting touch,. but I think it would be just as good, or better without the fruity additions.

355mL bottle Carywn Cellars, Melbourne. Bottled on 04/04/17 Pale straw colour, reasonably clear, good whit foam. Delicate sort of aroma - cracker biscuit, slightly vanillary-honey sort of malt character, subtle floral citrus blossom & cut herbal hop. Relatively full body, clean, crisp, excellent balance & weight. Hoppy body, in a Noble, sort of subtle way - minerals, herbs, citrus flowers & leaves with that sort of water cracker/bread crust malt underpinning it all. Lifted bitterness, finishes clean. Damn good pils!

Restrained floral citrus aroma in a light gold pour. Crisp hop forward balance with clean body and finish. An excellent example of the style (craft lager/pilsner).

pivnizub (10662) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2017
Lahev: Pale golden with a greenish sheen, a bit unclear, visible carbonation, small creamy and lacy white head; dry spicy herbal to piney nose, some grains in the background; dryish and crisp bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; lingering dryish herbal-spicy-piney-hoppy finish, balanced by a pretty modest amount of pale malt. Výborné pivo, ale určitě žádný světlý ležák...

Optisch unspektakulär, aber in der Nase ordentlich hopfig grün. Im Trunk ebenso, harzig, bitter, sehr deutliche Hopfennoten, wow. Sehr intensiv.

355ml can bought at Piccadilly Tap, Manchester, shared with djoeye and Finn. Misty pale golden body, filmy layer, clingy lacing. Oily hops on the nose, hints of citrus. Blended taste of lemony hops and pale malts. Mild dry bitter finish. Pretty nice. (Tromsø 26.07.2017).
