12oz Bottle - Gravity Beer Market – Olympia, WA
Light golden color, hazy with a thick head. Served ice cold this was a tasty summer brew. Loved the spice and lemon flavors. Great for those days of swilling. Nice wheat flavors and finish.

Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 31, 2010
Bottle. Pours hazy honey color with a thin white head. The nose is lemon zest, sweet wheat and malt. The taste is dusty wheat, orange peel and caramel. Medium semi-prickly mouthfeel. Nice refreshing wheat.

MJGG (952) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 29, 2010

12oz. bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a thick foamy white head. Aroma: citrus, dough, bread, banana, ginger, and spicy. Tastes slightly sweet accompanied by a lively mouth feel then it becomes slightly sour and bitter that leads to a crisp finish.

badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 24, 2010
Clear light orange with a fizzy white head. Sweet malty fruity aroma and taste with hints of citrus and aprocot.

yemenmocha (659) - Glendale, Arizona, USA - MAY 24, 2010
Pours with a hazy dark gold color with generous white head at first that dissipates to not much soon thereafter. Nose is very faint with some lemon/orange. Palate has light malt & wheaty flavors with a hint of citrus. Light bodied and light on the finish. Easy drinking.

City Beer Store. Oddly bland and boring for Firestone Walker. I don’t think this one was a very good choice for their new six-pack beer. Pours a cloudy light golden color with a decent white head that dissipated a bit quickly. The aroma is weak - mild but decent malt, a touch of citrus/orange, nondescript yeast. The flavor is just nondescript. I’m not a big fan of "summer beers," and I imagine that was what they were shooting for here, but this is a beer that I won’t remember in a week.

Blake (396) - Orange, California, USA - MAY 22, 2010
Had on tap at Haven Solace release party. Pours hazy yellow with slight white head. Aroma was standard wheat with bananas and cloves. Nothing at all special about the aroma, almost a weak in smell and flavor. Flavor is mostly wheat, bananas, spice, and malts. Again, a fairly uninteresting wheat beer from a brewer that I love. Had really hoped from something more complex and outside the box. As it is, it’s a fairly standard, boring wheat beer that will probably do well beside Pyramid or other run-of-the-mill hefs.
