"an interesting hybrid between a saison and a wheat/heffe. light but flavorful. aroma is citrus and a little yeast and spice. body is light. dark golden in color. flavor is the strength as it does the saison funky spice and wheat well. nice seasonal." A very refreshing summer ale. Pours a cloudy bright golden color with white head. Citrus, spice, cloves, and some raw wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Very well done wheat ale. thome50 (1294) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - JAN 16, 2014
Bottle via a mixed 24 pack. Pours a golden to yellow with white head. Aroma is yeasty fresh baked bread and some sweetness. Taste is thin banana, wheat and some salted malt caramel. tmoreau (4298) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2014
12 oz. bottle carefully poured to a fest goblet so as not to fully disturb the layer of sediment at the base, resulting in a clear golden display, nice rising effervescence, a short lived, soft white, foamy head, and patches & spots of lacing. The nose was light yeast, some honey-like malt sweetness, soft grain, light pear & apple at first, followed by a bit of citrus & pit fruit, and just a hint of spice as clove that was mostly muted by the esters. Light bodied, with lively carbonation, and a moderate hop bitterness that had some citrusy nature, with a touch of earthiness. Refreshing and sessionable. Pours hazy golden/orange w/small white head, no lacing. Aroma is wheat, lemon, and slight spice. Nice delicate flavor, lightly hopped, snappy and spicy, refreshing. Good session beer, light body, creamy texture, average carb., mellow finish.

Pours a light sap color with solid white, thick sheet. Nose of some citrusy hops, and plenty of sweet wheat with a bit of yeasty character. Very delicate flavor profile - some sweetness, some yeast, some floral tones; all low players. Way too thin for my preference and low carb as well leave this beer watery and disappointing. I’m not a fan, could be the 5 months in the bottle, but I don’t find American what beers to generally be much better fresh.

A wheat ale with some nice citrusy hops. Mulling spices, caramel backbone and smooth finish. Good. MoorBeerPlz (10) - Corona, California, USA - NOV 25, 2013
Served from the bottle into a tulip glass....
On the nose, not too much going on.... wet grains, wheat, maybe grass and a yeasty note. After swirling, a little more yeast, banana esters and bubblegum comes through.
Pours a hazy straw yellow with a half a finger head that dissipated quickly to very little lacing around the glass. A little on the fizzy side.
Tastes of bread, wheat, a slight sour/tartness and maybe a little funk or off-taste (can’t decide). A citrus note here along with just a hint of spice.
Mouthfeel is medium-light, not too dry with a bitter yeasty aftertaste, medium carbonation.
Decent wheat beer and certainly not something anyone should run from or flatly refuse if offered. Sessionable and a good summer beer wherever you are. For me, this one is in the middle of the pack compared to other wheat beers I’ve tried.
Cheers! Mep3222 (1540) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - NOV 20, 2013
Fruity aroma and flavor. Didn't seem too much like a wheat beer? Full flavored and enjoyable but very low carbonation. Good overall

On draft. Aroma is high register, maybe cat piss. Taste is hop forward, big hops and then dissolves as the wheat comes through. Little bittering. Lovely.
