Draft at The Wurst Place in Seattle, WA.
Pours a hazy golden orange color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Sweet, slightly earthy aroma with prominent grassy hops along with tropical/citrus fruit notes, bready yeast and pale malt. There’s also some biscuity malt countering the grassy pine and citrus.
Medium bodied but fuller than expected with a balance of earthy hops, tart yeast and light fruit. Tight carbonation with spicy coriander and clove followed by lemon rind, bread and pale malts. Dry, tart finish. idedek (157) - USA - AUG 5, 2012
a nice light aroma with a yeasty, grass and banana smells. a nice light taste with yeasty and hay notes. good to style ale, with a light clean dry finish. drjay44 (3709) - Salida, Colorado, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Draft at a local. Pours a medium, short lived, ivory head, with some lacing, over a slightly cloudy, dark yellow (SRM 4) body.....nose is banana, bubblegum, clove.....taste is malts with banana, bubblegum, light clove, hints of citrus......mouth feel light of medium, carbonation adds a tingling spritz on the tongue. The brewery says this is a summertime fusion beer. It is more or less an admixture of a Hefeweizen and a Witbier. It tends toward the Hefe, but with more citrus and a little less banana, bubblegum, it could be called a Wit. Either way it is a very nice summer beer. Pint pour at Kite & Key in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. Not a straight weizen, but a wheat ale with a slight head and substantial wheat body and fine flavor; very slightly sweet for the style, but overall very well done. Another very good beer from FW. Draught at Brewster’s LAX. Nice cloudy orange-gold with a fine head. Wheaty nose, weizen-like esters, clove, banana. A bit clean. Very weizen-like flavor, clove and banana and a bit of chocolate. Clean and light though. Tasty, very bready—or cake, and apricots. Basically a take on a weizen.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a fruity wheat malty banana aroma. Fruity wheat malty flavor with spicy hints. Has a sweetish wheat malty spicy finish. Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 26, 2012
Bottle at home, from my favorite Minneapolis Town Hall glass. Pours hazy gold, thin white head, poor lacing. Nose is lemon, wheat, coriander; nicely spicy, but really doesn’t get my blood pumping. Flavours of spicy lemon, cream, dusty with plenty of coriander. Nice. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Sampled on 7/21/2012. This American Wheat Ale pours a light gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent lacing and nice retention. The aroma is wheaty and sweet. A medium bodied Wheat Ale. The malts are fruity, wheaty and sweet. The hops are herbal. Decent carbonation. Very similar of the earlier version of this beer, without the banana and clove aspect. Nice session beer good for a hot summer day. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012 Draught at Rogue, San Francisco
Aroma has some peaches, hay and wheat. Also some tart citrus. Flavour is sweetish with peach essence, some toffee and wheat. A bit watery and boring but refreshing anyway.
