COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional Bavarian wheat brewed in the classic German style. True to style, this beer presents incredible banana and clove aromas followed by citrus and a hint of tropical fruit. Ripe banana and citrus fruit flavor a burst upon first sip and finish with a wonderfully silky texture. Enjoy without added fruit - th subtle aromas and flavor a crafted in this beer are easily overcome by other flavors.

Draft at the Taproom (I guess that’s what they call it now). Nose is banana, cloves, and white bread. Murky yellow with a medium, heavy lacing, pale yellow tinged head. Flavor is fruity and mildly sweet with a hint of bitter. They used to bottle this before Solace and now they don’t have either except once in a while at the Taproom or Pub! Wish they bottled this!

4 oz pour on draft at Firestone Walker’s Taproom in Paso Robles. Hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of herbs, banana, yeast. Tastes of banana, yeast, herbs. Light body with a dry finish. Good for the style.

On tap at Buellton. Banana and clove aroma and flavor with maybe a touch more hops than the norm. Cloudy yellow. Good beer, if not up to par with their hoppy, sour or barreled beers.

Leighton (21489) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2016
Draft at the Firestone Walker Taproom in Marina del Rey, CA. Pours slightly hazy gold with a frothy, white head. A nice hefe, somewhat dry, with moderate wheat character, some bitter hay. Not too sweet, with restrained phenolics. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish, with relaxed wheat bread and just a nip of banana chip. Solid.

Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - MAY 30, 2016
30 May 2016, tap at Firestone Walker Propagator. Bright, light, hazy orange. Nose is big banana with hints of clove. Thin/med body and mildly fizzy. Banana, clove, faintly bitter, some yeast. Ok. Nose was great. Not big enough body or sweet enough.
