Bomber bought at Super 1 in Hayden, ID. Pours haazy orange with a medium white collapsing head; leaves some lace. Aroma consists of cat piss, pine, lemon rind, bread, caramel--lots of stuff, but it’s all a little muted. Taste is bittersweet with lots of fruity esters. The bitter finish lingers. Excellent and emminently drinkable. This would be top class if the aroma was a little more prominent.

Great bitter, dry IPA. Still has enough toffee or vanilla sweetness and citrus to make it interesting. Definitely worth picking up again.

Aroma is fruity with mango and hints of citrus. Flavour is somewhat sweet with resin, some fruity hops and hints of vanilla. Dry finish. Balanced and good IPA, but a bit on the sweet side.

From the 355 ml. bottle stamped Bottled on 04/08/12. The pour is golden yellow with a small head that leaves fine lacing and excellent clarity. The aroma is full of hops with the malts downplayed but still noticeable. The body is medium to heavy. The taste is wildly bitter with hops that linger. A hop lover’s IPA.

A careful pour results in a two and a half finger fluffy head that dissipates down to a rocky off-white cap that stalks you to the bottom of the glass. Body is a beautiful golden copper color and is crystal clear with no haze or sediment. Visible carbonation rises from the bottom of the glass. Lacing is generous. One whiff and you can tell this is going to be a nicely balanced and refined IPA. Fresh waves of citrusy hop: pineapple and mango intertwined with restrained pine. It has only the slightest hint of malt sweetness in the background; perhaps a touch a caramel.Just what I expected from the nose; citrusy hops dominate up front followed by a slight piney bite. A citrus sweetness of pineapple, mango and tangerines and a hint of a caramel help balance things out nicely. Mouthfeel is creamy rich and thick with low carbonation. The hops leave a pleasant tingle on the tongue. A slight dry finish with a slight lingering hoppiness. Dangerously drinkable. One of the best American IPAs (non DIPA) I’ve had. I really wish it was distributed here in Ohio. If you have a chance at drinking one of these do NOT pass it up. Beautifully balanced.
