Bottle at home. Poured a glowing orange color with a one-finger off-white head. Smell is heavy tropical fruits, grapefruit, tangerine, peaches, and floral notes, as well. Taste is sweet fruits upfront, with hints of orange and grapefruit, smooth and well-balanced through the middle, with a moderately grassy bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium with high carbonation. I always walked passed this beer since it is so easily available, but I will definitely come back to this one. Solid IPA. Haslinger (929) - The World of Beer, Texas, USA - JUL 13, 2012
bottle bought a 6 pack of this to take on a winter camping and hiking trip out in the snow and picked it bc it was the highest abv IPA and I didn’t want it to freeze. Great pick. Hoppy but not too piney. Really tasty. Would buy again AleWife725 (21) - Albany, New York, USA - JUL 12, 2012
On tap at City Beer Hall. Poured a clear dark golden color with a foamy off-white head. Bright citrus hops on the nose. Palate of ripe grapefruit with bitter PNW hops and lemon rind. Loses points because the finish fades shockingly quickly. Claymeister (74) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 11, 2012
12 oz bottle. Pours a copper color with a medium sized head and good lacing. Nice aroma with citrus hops and pine. Well-balanced and smooth. This is a tasty IPA. MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2012
Pour clear dark golden, with a medium-sized frothy white head.
Aroma is nice and hoppy, of pine, citrus, caramel, grass, apricot, pineapple. Simply all that is hops. Very well balanced though.
Taste has some caramel, malty sweetness upfront, with a heavy dose of dry bitterness at the end. Long and lingering.
Medium body, with a semi-fizzy carb. - Thanks to Mashmaster for suggesting this.

A clear, golden pour with a white head that retains well. The aroma has a lot of pine and some grapefruit. The medium body is somewhat thick in texture and has lively carbonation. It has a bitter taste stays around for a long, dry finish. GSH1976 (307) - Delaware, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Pours a golden slightly hazy color. Aroma is citrus and floral. Body is medium. Tastes of citrus with some subtle malt. It is clean, crisp and well balanced. A very smooth and easy drinking beer. I prefer DIPAs but this is an excellent IPA. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 6, 2012
A: clear, light yellow hue with a moderate sized head. average retention with very little lacing.
S: hops, grapefruit with subtle malt in the background.
T: very tasty beer. There is a strong malt backbone to support the hop bill. This is well balanced, though I personally prefer more of a hip forward beer and less of a malt presence.
M: full bodied. Good feel.
D: pretty good. This doesn’t compare to the elite IPAs out there, but it’s enjoyable and worth trying.

Draft. Pours a light amber with a white head. Slight piny nose. Taste is fruity, citrus, and light. Not overly sticky pine. Finishes definitively crisp. MadDogMD (215) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Great nose of citrusy, piney hops. Tastes of peach, orange, pine & grass. More bitter than sweet, which is what I like. A great beer!
