UPDATED: AUG 31, 2012 Big, frothy head. Uniquely creamy, with sweet caramel malt and grapefruit notes that tangle with a sweet hop backbone. Creamy mouthfeel, impressive balance throughout the long finish. Sweetness defines this brew but the hops complement it perfectly as it evolves. jeffs515 (124) - Ogden, Utah, USA - AUG 3, 2012

Poured copper in color, with a medium sized foamy head. Aroma is pine and lemon zest. Taste is well-balanced: You immediately get a tropical fruit sweetness on the tip of your tongue, but the piney hops come in and it finishes dry. This beer grew on me as I drank it. crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle . A nice orange amber body with a slightly off-white head that had good retention and nice lace. Aroma had a strong pine hop profile which was complemented by nice citrus notes. Good caramel malt base. Flavor had a good hop presence. Mostly resinous with some grapefruit and even floral notes. Caramel malts were merely a balancing act to sweeten the beer. It was just enough to take a little away from the hops with the hops losing its assertiveness. Dry in the finish. Good! djd07 (16317) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is floral hops and pine. Thin mouthfeel with a light citrus hop and crisp finish. Hides alcohol well, very good IPA from Firestone. Volgon (2761) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Bottle: Pours a clear light orange with a thin white head, huge citrus aroma, starts and ends very bitter with an orange aftertaste, playful carbonation, medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. TheJester (2543) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2012
355 mL bottle. A real standout in the IPA world. It is a west coaster with the more malty and earthy elements of the traditional IPA. Aroma is brilliantly fresh and citrussy, and the flavour is perfectly balanced. I’d swear someone dropped a little Goldings in there as well. Outstanding.
