Bottle poured a magnificent bright amber with orange hues, medium off white head, and notable lacing. Aroma includes notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine, and caramel malt. Taste is wonderfully smooth and balanced with citrus and bready malt upfront followed by just the right amount of hop bitterness. You will enjoy this IPA.

It pours gold with a medium foam head. Hoppy flavours are peppery, resin. Mouth is very clean and dry. Maybe some mouthfeel and malt backside is missing to support that bitterness. Great beer anyway.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2012 Excellent IPA. Pours a hazy, golden yellow, with large, frothy head. Strong citrus/hop aroma. Flavor an intense combination of citrus and strong hoppy bitterness. Nice malty undercurrent. Very satisfying beer.

12oz bottled June 28, 2012. About 4 months old, so not ideal, but not available in my area so I’ll take what I can get. Served at around 40F.

Pours hazy golden amber with a two finger white head that leaves lots of webs of lacing and recedes to a light cap and foamy ring.

Aroma is citrus, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, some pineapple, apricot, floral hops, decent caramel malt. Good to very good strength.

Flavor is apricot, orange, some grapefruit, moderate caramel malt backbone, mild sweetness, good bitterness, some alcohol.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, oily, a little sticky, good carbonation.

Very good IPA. I could see this being even more impressive if very fresh.

Pours a golden orange with a frothy off white head. Nose of citrus and bitter hops with a hint of malt. Tastes of the same with an exceptionally smooth palate. This is a delicious IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2013 Amazing IPA, i could drink this year round, one my personnal favorites. High drinkability, really bitter ans well balanced. can’t wait for my trip at firestone brewery next year Post trip review: there in tap, one the best ipa’s i’ve ever had. I think that firestone doesn’t get all the credit because it’s distributed around the country and it’s tough to get fresh. (same thing with sculpin) but believe it is unbelievable, only falls second to wookey jack!
