UPDATED: DEC 14, 2014 12/14/14: Bomber. Grapefruit citrus hop aroma with light grass and pine notes. Pours clear golden colored with a large soapy white head and very little lacing. Starts with smooth grapefruit and orange citrus with hints of tropical fruit. Finishes dry with light grass and pine hop bitterness, but still quite smooth. Nice IPA. 10/8/12: Strong hoppy aroma. Amber colored with not much head. Smooth with citrus notes to start before the hops take over. Hoppy to finish, but not overpowering.

W nosie średnio intensywnie, słodkie cytrusy, dojrzałe tropiki, ziołowość, i niestety sporo nut miodowych. Barwa złota, klarowne, piana średniej wysokości o drobnych ziarnach. W smaku dużo żywicy, marmolady cytrusowej, grapefruita i ciasteczkowości, na finiszu lekkie alko, generalnie słodko-gorzko, klasycznie. Goryczka wysoka, grapefruitowa. Podsumowując mogła być niezła rzecz, a tak jest tylko średnio, potwierdza się teza, że amerykańskie piwa trafiają do Europy lekko zleżałe. Butelkowane 10/31/2016.

10/31/2016 so a bit old lady, but thats how they com to EU :( I can imagine it was amazing fresh. Theres a hint of that classic fruitiness Strong malty aroma with some caramel & brown sugar. The citrus is rather zesty than juicy and tbh its rather memory of fruit than fruitiness Taste is perfect balance of bitterness to make it drinkable and cover alcohol. Though I would welcome more fruitiness in taste I guess its gone with aging ;( hopefully we will get some fresh ones sometime when EU and USA come to better terms as it comes to international trade: For now its another classic US made IPA that proves that they have to be good in USA but in EU they are just too old.

Basically a prototypical American IPA and a classic. Aromas bursting with grapefruit, citrus, apricot, other fruit and some pine/grass. The bitterness is balanced nicely with the caramel malt and provides for a smooth finish, yet the hops always make their presence known. Pours a beautiful burnt-orange color with a frothy white head.

355 ml. bottle @ Home. Aroma: quite intense aromas of mango, grapefruit, citrus, pine, resin, tangerine. Toasted malts overtones appeared as the beer got warmed. Appearance: golden light amber color with slightly off-white head. Above average head thickness. Creamy head made of small-sized bubbles. Excellent retention, very much above average. Clear. Low-to-medium Brussels lacing. Taste: low-to-medium sweetness, medium-high bitterness, no sourness. Sweet at first, turning to bitterness toward the finish. Flavors of grapefruit, pine, resin, tropical fruits, mango, citrus. Very well balanced. Its bitterness is higher than in the "Easy Jack" IPA from the same brewery but the bitterness seems to be lower here thanks to the good balance with the malt sweetness. Palate: medium body, watery-to-oily texture, low-to-medium carbonation, very lingering dry and quite bitter finish of pine, resin, grapefruit, citrus. Alcohol is very well hidden under the hops flavors. Overall: excellent appearance.Good aromas and flavors of pine, resin, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, grapefruit. Very well balanced. Refreshing. Very good IPA.

Pours a clear deep golden color with a decent white head that produces lace. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is sweet pale and caramel malt, bread dough and a fairly medley of sweet citrus and fresh pine needles. Hop bitterness is quite assertive, yet well balanced with the sweet malt. Pretty damned good.
