4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle. Pours clear dark yellow with a thin white head and decent lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine and orange peel. Aroma not as intense as some of the other highly rated IPA's like Heady Topper, or Hill Farmstead Edward, but then I am very spoiled. Taste is very drinkable and impressive. Sweet malt backbone perfectly balanced by citrussy hop bitterness. The taste of honey and malt linger along with the hop bitterness into the finish. The carbonation is appropriate and the palate has a resinous, slightly oily feel to it that perfectly complements the taste. Hides the 7.5ABV very well. An outstanding IPA made even more perfect because of the relative ease of procurement compared with some of the exotic Vermont small batch craft brew IPA's. I am going to be drinking a lot more of this beer in the future.

From a bottle. Delicous but maltier than expected, hard to tell when we get a bottle that has travelled half the world if that’s what they intended. captivaboy (24) - Captiva, Florida, USA - JUL 19, 2017
An excellent balance of malt and citrusy hops, smoothe to the palate, and immensely drinkable.

Deep gold with an off-white head. Citrus and pine aroma and flavor. Malty up front with a long bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. A nice aggressive IPA NiklasT (49) - SWEDEN - JUL 15, 2017
Golden, slightly amber apparence. Aroma fruity, hoppy. Full bodied, with a perfect balance between fruity sweetness and a marked bitter ending. Excellent, classic west coast IPA. pachecoweld (17) - California, USA - JUL 13, 2017
Just getting into IPA style beers and I’m glad I started with this one. Nose is sweet grape fruit, tropical fruit and a bit of floral. Taste is a good kick of grapefruit and tangerine with enough malt to balance it out nicely. Finish is slightly bitter but not too aggressive. Just a tad dry finish but not overwhelming. Tastes like a pale 31 on steroids. Really enjoyed this one. macca147 (226) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 8, 2017

Nice classic hops smell. Pours golden orange with a white fast dissipating head. Nice tastes of citrus and pine. Medium biting sour finish. Basic mouth feel and medium carbonation. Like all Firestones its a solid effort and a balanced fine example of the style. Dependable.
