Pours a hazy dark brown. Thick tan head that dissipates very quickly. Mild aroma of roast grain and cocoa. Flavor is stronger but similar, with moderate roastiness and cocoa powder. Very thin (for a stout) mouthfeel and dry finish. The beer doesn’t taste bad but I was very disappointed by the thin mouthfeel. Sperine (283) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 19, 2013
On tap at Capone's in Norristown, PA. Had this after a series of IPAs, and it was the perfect change of pace. Full flavor, incredible mouthfeel, and so smooth going down. My first non-IPA FW was one to remember.

Pours black with a fairly thick tan head. Coffee, chocolate and maybe some dark fruit on the nose. Carbonated, rich but well balanced. Slight bitterness lingers. Great oatmeal stout. Rando7 (779) - Iowa, USA - APR 13, 2013
Bottle pours black with one finger firm tan head. Aroma of roast with a little chocolate and licorice. Taste sweet malts, oatmeal, chocolate. Mild slightly bitter finish. Creamy palate. No alcohol noted.Cantabrian (1143) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - APR 12, 2013
Wow, very drinkable stout. The taste is fairly mild but not weak at all. There is a lot of flavor here without turning into an in-your-face stout.
UPDATED: APR 13, 2013 I was blown away by the seduction of this black beauty. Indeed black as the forest night, with a medium-sized creamy head. Wonderful aroma of dark chocolates, that typical silo touch of oatmeal stouts and a pleasant hint of cassis. This is sweet oatmeal, with the woody malts and the dark chocolates and the caramels and milk perfectly balanced behind a very subtle bitterness, never hoppy, but just dry. Very invigourating mouth feel, creamy, smooth velvet on the tongue, to make your eyes peacefully close with pleasure and bring back memories of anything good, no matter if this beer is new or not. Adorable! jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - APR 6, 2013
