Thick, rich, creamy, nice flavor. Chocolate, with some mild coffee but without the bitterness; oatmeal. Nice.

This is a really great session stout. Very balanced flavor, not too bitter. Great mouth feel. Delicious.

This ones good. Aroma is smooth, little coffee with roasty chocolate notes. Pours a dark black with tan head that thins relatively quickly. Coffee, toasty malt notes, and lightly sweet define the taste; however, a slight bitterness adds the to complexity and overall awesomeness. It also finishes smooth but surprisingly dry! Yeah.

Serving: from tap at Brouwers Cafe. Aroma: light wood and chocolate aroma. Appearance: small, creamy, light-brown, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Dark-brown/black body. Taste: heavy, bourbon-like, lightly roasted initial flavor with hints of wood. Lightly acidic and bitter finish with average duration. Palate: medium-to-full body with oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: didnt really like it much.

Pour was deep dark brown, tan colored head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, some vanilla. Flavor followed with slight bourbon and toffee mixed in there. Mouthfeel was oily medium to full bodied for the style. Slight acidity in the finish for a stout. Decent brew, definitely not overdone on the bourbon, but the base beer didnt wow me.

Draft at Capones. Pours a deep brown with think tan head and lacing. Aroma dominated by roasted malts, some coffee, dark chocolate. Very creamy mouthfeel. A lot of roasted, almost smokey, malts, with mild coffee and chocolate notes. Pretty sweet and creamy finish.

12 oz bottle poured into English pint, pretty much a black pour, tan creamy diminishing head, minimal lacing, smells roasted, some chocolate, texture is medium, not as thick as would be expected, feels like its missing something like some hops, finish is kind of sour, bit disappointing, least from FS I've had as they are typically stellar, it's an oatmeal stout the barrel aged version seems like it would be better

Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Subtle chocolate aroma. Coffee, chocolate, and nutty flavors with low hop bitterness. Smooth creamy mouthfeel with a light body and low carbonation.
