COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

Very soft with almost no nose (god how I hate nitro). Soft and delicate mouthfeel with some cocoa and mild roast.

On tap at Pasa Robles location...both regular and nitrogenated. Beautiful cascading bubbles on nitro...mohogany color. Coffee and dark chocolate aroma and flavor, along with notes of espresso, cocoa, bitter nuts and hops, tropical fruit. The regular is like above but obviously not the lovely creamy smoothness...also perhaps a touch more coffee notes and less balance. Aged 3 months in 10 year old bourbon barrels, bartender Chris said this is an oatmeal stout. I was there 12/26/07 and these beers were not listed on the chalkboard.

Draft at Toronado. Served on Nitro. Frothy tan head and a murky brown color. Roasted chocolate and coffee aromas. Medium chocolate malt flavors with some nuttiness and a smooth mouth feel.

Draft. Nitro. Blackish beer with a nice dark beige nitro head. Roasty aroma. Roasty, dark chocolate flavor with backing sweetness. Medium body. Lingering chocolate with a tannic astringency starting to show. Labelled as an oatmeal stout, but oatmeal well hidden.
