Dark brown with a light brown foam. Disappears quick to a nice ring. Aroma of roasty malt and coffee. Light but it?s there. Taste is roasted malt, some sweet coffee in the middle, with a little hop finish. Clean up front with very clear flavors. Light palate with good carbonation. Very good beer. Easy to drink. Very enjoyable.

A pleasant, light, sweet stout. A nice head on the pour. Smooth on the palate and lightly hopped. Caramel, light and sweet coffee, muffins, oats. I’m a little surprised by the high ratings - it is a nice brew but nothing fantastic is going on here. koleminer20 (3463) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - APR 23, 2017
12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. The pour is a darker brown color with a thick ring of light khaki head and a couple spots of lace. The aroma is a little metallic but carries a nice chocolate and coffee aroma. There is a bit of bitterness on the back end that is a bit strange. The flavor is much of the same. There is a hint of metallic coffee and a light cardboard. This particular vintage might be a little past it’s prime. There is a little smokiness on the back end that I’m not okay with. The mouth feel is light and watery with a brighter carbonation and a lingeringly bitter metallic chocolate and cardboard on the finish. No thanks. ebone1988 (1851) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - APR 23, 2017
Bottle shared with koleminer20. Found this one in a drawer in Matt’s fridge. Vintage December 2012. Aroma is earthy hops, roasted malt, bread, slight chocolate, oatmeal, smells pretty good considering. Appearance is dark brown, light tan head, poured thin. Taste is old, oatmeal, light roasted malt, light coffee, bready, fine. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, bready sweet oatmeal aftertaste. Overall, not bad for nearly 5 years old. gopherfan99 (1776) - Minnesota, USA - APR 22, 2017

Siła tego piwa tkwi w prostocie. Mało ciała, acz fajnie kremowe. Bogata słodowość. Kawa, owies na maksa, lekko słona, lukrecjowa nuta. Bdb. rami_pl (3302) - Warszawa, POLAND - APR 12, 2017

Zbozowo, karmelowo, cocacolowo, orzechowo. Taka mieszanka. Niezla, ale gorsza butla, usredniam ocenke
On tap nitro style at The Pine Box with blonderedhead. Pint glass. Darker brown, basically black with a creamy tan head. Great lacing as you would expect from this style. Aroma has a healthy coffee quality with just a hint of chocolate. Taste has characteristics of coffee and chocolate with a chocolate milk like consistency and flavor profile winning out. There is a nuttiness working through and making its hazelnut presence felt towards the end. Minimal bitterness until the finish. The nitro fits the style but doesn’t really do much to enhance the drinking experience for me. Decent but not one of my favorites from this brewery. AROMAT : Intensywny. Dominują ciemne słody (paloność, prażoność) oraz nuta zbożowa.
SMAK : Wytrawne. Lekko palone. Posmak gorzkiego kakaa. Zaskakująco wodniste. Ekstremalnie pijalne.
WYGLĄD : Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste. Piana drobna, niska.
OGÓLNIE : Lekki, dobry stout. Cieszy mnie fakt, że w Polsce mamy już takich na pęczki.
35,5 cl bottle, bottled on 01/12/2016. Black color with a small beige head. Roasty coffee and chocolate aromas, some sweetness, true to style, nothing much unexpected. Mouthfeel has some weird fizzy thing going on that is the first thing one notices, not totally sold on the creaminess either. Body could definitely be fuller, but then again it’s to be expected for 5,5 %. On the drier side of stouts, which works alright. Nice coffee with chocolate hiding in the back in taste, but a bit muted. Just needs more body.
