COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

Pitch Black Color, Medium Tan Bubbly Head, Decent Lacing. Sweet Chocolate, Coffee Aroma. Sweet Milk Chocolate, Vanilla, Roasted Creamy Malt. Watered and Toned Down Version of Left Hand Nitro / Milk Stout. Not as creamy, but never the less pretty Nice. Enjoyed it. Recommended.

Pours a hazy dark brown. Thick tan head that dissipates very quickly. Mild aroma of roast grain and cocoa. Flavor is stronger but similar, with moderate roastiness and cocoa powder. Very thin (for a stout) mouthfeel and dry finish. The beer doesn’t taste bad but I was very disappointed by the thin mouthfeel.

Pours black into a nonic pint glass. The tan head quickly dissolves. Not much visual carbonation. Excellent aroma of freshly roasted Coffee Beans. Nice hop to malt balance on the initial drink. Medium body with lots of roasted malt on the palate. Crisp dry finish. Excellent!

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours black, with a very small tan head that quickly fades. Nose is cocoa and coffee, and the taste follows the nose. Very smooth, well balanced stout, with a creamy mouth feel and a nice short finish. Delicious.

Poured a dark brown, no sediment or floaties that I could see. Almost no head. Palate had some oatmeal creaminess but less than I expected. It had a very dark roast with quite a lot of hoppy bitterness that hit up front instead of in the aftertaste. Tasted of dark fruits, hints of sweatness and whisky (but without the alcohol). Smooth and a treat.

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a black color with a quickly dissipating tan head and little lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and some chocolate. The taste is coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar, and milk. It’s pretty smooth and creamy. This is a good stout.

Poured from 12 oz., picked up at Trader Joe’s. Poured a nice dark brown with a large tan head. Nice roasty nose, complex, with hints of coffee and chocolate. Mouthfeel was indeed creamy, full and heavy bodied, with a nice long finish. What I like most was that you often have a higher alcohol beer with something as good as this.

6 pack from an October trip to Colorado, tasted with 11 other stouts (finished 3rd). Pitch black with a moderate tan head. Aroma is extremely dark roast coffee (nearly burnt) and just a touch of bourbon. Flavor and texture are well-rounded, with a creamy body and loads of depth. Dark chocolate layers well on top of coffee and earthy hops.
