12 oz Bottle. The beer pours to a medium black dark brown color with a thin tan head. The aroma has roasted malt, coffee & some chocolate. The Taste is very smooth with a rich coffee espresso flavor with nice toasted hints to it. Overall a very good Stout.

Poured from 12 oz., picked up at Trader Joes. Poured a nice dark brown with a large tan head. Nice roasty nose, complex, with hints of coffee and chocolate. Mouthfeel was indeed creamy, full and heavy bodied, with a nice long finish. What I like most was that you often have a higher alcohol beer with something as good as this.

6 pack from an October trip to Colorado, tasted with 11 other stouts (finished 3rd). Pitch black with a moderate tan head. Aroma is extremely dark roast coffee (nearly burnt) and just a touch of bourbon. Flavor and texture are well-rounded, with a creamy body and loads of depth. Dark chocolate layers well on top of coffee and earthy hops.

A light entry level oatmeal stout. Cant see why this is seasonal... light espresso roast and cocoa. Thin-to-smooth mouthfeel. The recipe kind of plays it safe. The nitro milk stout version is a delicious improvement.

This ones good. Aroma is smooth, little coffee with roasty chocolate notes. Pours a dark black with tan head that thins relatively quickly. Coffee, toasty malt notes, and lightly sweet define the taste; however, a slight bitterness adds the to complexity and overall awesomeness. It also finishes smooth but surprisingly dry! Yeah.

12 oz bottle poured into English pint, pretty much a black pour, tan creamy diminishing head, minimal lacing, smells roasted, some chocolate, texture is medium, not as thick as would be expected, feels like its missing something like some hops, finish is kind of sour, bit disappointing, least from FS I've had as they are typically stellar, it's an oatmeal stout the barrel aged version seems like it would be better
