On tap at Firestone Walker Barrelworks. A clear golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is fruity, lightly sugary, in a Belgian way. Some spiced and yeasty hints. Quite dry on the palate, medium to full body, nice carbonation. Some alcohol warmth too. Fruits, pale malts and some sugary hints without being sweet. Long, lightly warming finish. Excellent beer this one. 130809 Geokkjer (7644) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 9, 2013

On tap @ Barrelworks. Clear golden pour with a white head. Lots of banana, apple, and clove aromas. Spicy pepper, some bready malt, and pear. Nice sweet flavor of banana, apple, and pear. Bready malt, some white pepper, sugar, and a hint of bubblegum. A bit too sweet for a saison. AcctError236499 (226) - Oakland, California, USA - FEB 8, 2014
On draft at the brewery – reviewed from notes (01 Nov 13). Aroma has light farmhouse quality with light straw, pear, lemon and some wet rag. As it warmed I picked up on wheat, yeast and some spice. Pours crystal clear yellow with a thin white sheet of lace. Some webby lacing as the drink goes down. Taste follows aroma with moderate pear, cracker, and black pepper. Body is thin with medium-high carbonation. There is a mineral quality as well, and slight brett fruit character. Not sure if this is from a dose of dry hopping or not. Finish has a yeasty taste with a really darn dry finish. Not really picking up on any hop bitterness. Overall not a bad saison by any means, and rather refreshing. I enjoy the light farmhouse quality of the beer and light fruit note. Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - JUL 26, 2013
26 July 2013, tap at Firestone Walker Barrelworks in Buelton, CA. Yellow, clear, some bubbles. Nose is sweet hay and light lemons. Med body and moderately fizzy. Lemon rind, hints of black pepper, slight basement must. Nice enough. Crash_the_dog (181) - Fairway, Kansas, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Nice hazy yellow color. Rich head on tap that quickly dissipates. Fairly straightforward saison, although with a bit more crisp, sour bite than typical. Surprisingly refreshing.
