Top rate beer. Very flavorful, hoppy with strong malt nose. The Burton Union system has been revived for a great beer. PorterPounder (7970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 18, 2002
Excellent Pale Ale. Sweet citrusy aroma upon pouring. Smooth finish - doesn’t leave a lingering taste in the mouth like some pales tend to do. Just the right amount of hoppiness. BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - SEP 15, 2002
Seems like Firestone likes to take on English influnces. Nose shows shortbread beneath a typically Californian citric aroma. Palate is smooth, lightly carbonated. Flavor has a biscuity malt that’s just a little dry and too light but is pleasing anyway. There’s some peppery spice towards the end and a good lemony citrus finish. 666seth (229) - California, USA - JAN 17, 2003
Golden in color with a nice floral aroma. Hoppy taste present with malts to round up. Nice aspidites (1272) - manteca, California, USA - MAR 1, 2008
Herbal and grassy nose with wafts of bready malt. Mild citrus and biscuit notes on the palate. Clean and easy drinking session brew.

Gold color, medium head. Medium malty, hoppy ale. Crisp malt flavor, good hop balance. Some subtle fruity overtones. Finish is clean, Aftertaste is delicately bitter. Very nice. Kaya161 (1139) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 18, 2002
Golden colour with a white head. Citrusy hop aroma. Dry bitter flavour with a hint of malt underneath. A good APA, but what keeps it from being great is the lack of complexityt in hop flavour. ENTROPY (141) - Terra Bella, California, USA - AUG 18, 2002
I dont like to think to hard about rating beers. it goes something like this,
