COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by other great Coffee Porters, we decided to try our hand at it, but make it bigger and better. This beer is a glass of cold 100% Arabica medium-dark French Roast that just happens to be 6% alcohol! If you don’t like coffee, STAY AWAY!

Murky milky brown pour with a ring of head. Doesn’t look to appealing. Smell is a really great coffee aroma. Taste is coffee but a bit watery. Very thin body.

Poured a murky brown with minimal head. Very strong coffee nose. Thin across the palate with very strong coffee notes.

On tap at the brewery. Near black pour, tan head. Nose is dominated by coffee - smells like a cup of french roast. Flavor is similar with an odd grainy finish.

On tap at Craft and Growler. The beer pours a medium brown color with an off-white head. The aroma is full of strong coffee notes, with nothing else really coming through. The flavor is not as good. I definitely get some coffee but there is also a dirty character that doesn’t really work too well. As I drink more the dirty notes get stronger. I wish this tasted as good as it smells.

(Draught) cloudy medium brown, fine tan bubbles. Nose of fresh coffee, corn, dirt, earth, the coffee smells nice but it has flaws. Taste is dirty, earth, muddy, maybe oats too. Under carbonated. Not a great finish.

On tap at brewed. Decent aroma. Coffe taste up front, but very little behind it. Basically tasted like watered down coffee ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - FEB 16, 2013
On tap at Brewed. Milky brown pour with a small off-white head. Aroma is coffee, nuts, and a little roasted bread. Taste is thin and awkward with a little coffee up front, but no supporting flavors and a very weak finish. Almost tasteless beyond the first moment.
