nice bitter. Enjoyable. Would love to see this as an ESB. Flavorful considering the ABV. Slippery mouthfeel which is very good. A bit of a hop kick at the end. SudsMcDuff (8438) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 23, 2012

Pours clear dark copper with a moderate off white top. Aroma is caramel and earthy malts with a small hop presence. Taste is smooth caramel malts with earth tones. Nice body and earthy hop bitterness in the end. Could be a regular for me. lesifflebiere (1904) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 2, 2015

Solid cereals, quite nutty, a little roast, with a touch of grassy hops. Perfect mouth feel, and carb. Wonderful nutty finish, with more medium bitter malts. Quite refreshing, and a super sesssion ale. Ferris (15901) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 12, 2013
Bottle - Toasted sweet malts and grains. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Caramel malts with a nice slightly bitter finish. Very nice session bitter. Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 20, 2012
Golden amber with a thick head. Aroma of lightly spicy hops, fresh amber malts and some chewy crystal in the finish. Good for the style. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle. Slightly hazy brown-amber with a good sized just-off-white head that recedes quickly. Aroma is surprisingly complex - leafy hops, bread crust, slightly fermented fruit, a bit of musty book. Nice body, medium-full with a great crispness on the palate. Flavour is interesting - caramel malt, almost-burnt toffee, herbal hops, and tart apple. The latter note makes me think that there might be a mild infection at work, but even if there is, it’s not unpleasant - it actually gives it a nice moreish finish. Not bad! pootzboy (1760) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 24, 2013
Bottle - pours a clear shimmering red-amber with a sticky off white cap that laces well. Light carbonation. Aroma is demure but distinct- sweet amber malts over spicy hops and a hint of fruit. Creamy mouth feel malty-fruity character, medium-light body. Flavour has hints of caramel, succulent fruit tones, spicy hopping and a solid malt back bone -. goes to a clean lightly bitter finish. This is a good example of a craft session bitter - I could tilt a few of these in a sitting - mild but flavourful, drinkable in the max!
