Bottle at home, not what I expected. Do you know the Jack Daniels Mixdrinks with about 5% alcohol? It tasted pretty much the same. Weird sweet whiskey malt taste. I think the only positive thing about this beer is the colour.

Bottle from supermarket. Not unforgettable but still kind of a funny beer...

330ml bottle into tulip. Courtesy of Bitterlady (bought in some supermarket in Noumea). Smells like creek water, earth, grass, and smoky peat. Lightly carbonated bronze beer with a bit of scummy foam on top. Flat and sweet, doesn’t taste of much. But the palate! Plastic sweet scotch whisky cordial is the closest I can get to describe it. And it lingers. I think this is what a burnt plastic bag tastes like. Weird, really weird.

From old tasting notes. Bright amber, red color. Brief beige head. Perfumy sweet smoked malt aroma. Intensely sweet, smoky mesquite malt flavor. Brief sweet malt finish.

Pas fan du principe de base de parfumer telle ou telle bière avec des saveurs d’un autre alcool, mais pour une fois l’ensemble fonctionne pas mal !

Ambrata chiara, schiuma fine e abbondante. Nella ricetta ci sono coloranti artificiali, che tristezza... Odore cereali, leggero erbaceo, sapore dolce, dolcissimo, stucchevole. Amaro non pervenuto.

Bottle, 33cL. A golden orange sparkling clear beer with a medium white head ; ok retention. Smoke, sugar, roast, light caramel. Medium sugary sweet, round, light dry refreshing. Light to medium body, thin texture, light syrupy, average carbonation, sweet smoky dry finish. Overall, average. Not so bad, actually.

Bottle from an Esselunga supermarket in Lucca. Pours clear amber/orange with a small off-white head. The aroma contains malts, peat, smoke, whisky overall, but also some caramel and sugar. It tastes medium to heavy sweet. Oily texture and soft carbonation. Good try but way too sweet and uniform.

No detail information about the malts, hops and drinktemperature on the can. Clear amber beer with a short cream-colored head, thin texture, light body, very sweet, malty, caramel, finish is long and malty sweet, more malt drink than a Scotch Ale (I have 0.5l bottle with best-before 06/2017 16:12 L6 181F)

djoeye (4605) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 19, 2016
Aroma; malt, caramel, roasted malts, grass, berries, notes of whisky. Look; clear amber body, off white head. Taste; malts, dark caramels, roasted malts with whiskey notes, grassy smooth mild hops - leading to a malty finish. Feel; smooth, fine, good body. Overall; nice.
