COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A slightly roasted malt gives it a light amber color. The rich flavor dominates the malt/hops balance and is very popular among most beer drinkers.

Huge white, meringue-like head. Hazy amber-brown body with orange hues. Aroma is wet-hay, grass, ripe red plums. Taste is a wet lager, watery, could use carbonation. Caramel is readily present. Palate is boring. Sampled from a rather large bottle, purchased at Wegmans in Fairfax, VA.

From old tasting notes. Labeled as "The Amber by Fischer d’Alsace Malt Liquor". Lovely amber gold color with lots of tiny bubbles and a creamy white head. Tart toasted malt nose. Rich toasted malt flavor has a complex bittersweet backdrop and zesty flavorful character. Hearty smoky malt finish and aftertaste. Strong alcohol content.

Un peu trop légère, une impression dénaturée de manque de saveur. Manque de caractère

Head doesn't stay, Caramel ans Spice taste, not much carbonation. Still a good beer and good ratio quality/price

Sircatis (288) - FRANCE - AUG 18, 2016
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2016 Bière ambrée avec mousse beige généreuse. Fort goût de caramel et un peu d?épices type bière de Noël. Sucrée et peu pétillante.

Drought. Nice color, great caramel and gingerbread aroma. Sweet, very very sweet... TOO Much Sweet. It was a pain to finish, really awfully too sweet.

Bottle (6,3%). Light amber, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and caramel sweetish aroma, faint hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and sugary sweetish flavor, caramel. Finish is short to average, malty and caramel sweetish, faint hoppyness and alcohol. Caramel sweetish brew from Heineken for those with sweet tooth. No good - went down the drain.

Originally rated on 6/16/08. My 1st french beer wasnt half bad. It pours a nice looking amber hued body with a mid sized head, carbonation and lacing were good. the flavor is sweet and a little malty but had a tinge of metallic taste.Decent finish and aftertaste. overall a slightly above average beer.

Cervesa correcta si no hi ha cap alternativa millor, és bastant dolça i fàcil de beure. Cerveza correcta si no hay otra alternativa mejor, es bastante dulce y fácil de beber.

Fischer is probably a common and ’not so bad’ beer... the one you can drink every day and definitely better thank heineken and others commercial beer.
