Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Bottle: Amber gold with a puffy, white head. Cereals and hay in the aroma. The sweetness and fruitiness of light cherries and toasty notes on the tongue.

scotty (1223) - SCOTLAND - OCT 7, 2008
Small stubby bottle, Tesco, bottled as Biere Speciale. Pale, with a thin white head, lacks both nose and flavour. Dont think I’ll be trying again.

yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 4, 2008
Tasted 16/02/2008. 660ml swing-top bottle from little old school bottle store on main St, Carterton (on a kiwi brown beer run with Papsoe). 6%. Seems a lot like the Fischer Tradition beer but in a different fancy bottle, and with a different name (is this some sort of marketing ploy? I wouldn’t put it past them). A shade more hop character but that may just be the age difference. Metallic and lacking vitality.

CanadaCam (109) - CANADA - JUL 30, 2006
Bottle. A little too fizzy for my liking. Having enjoyed Fischer Bitter perhaps I was expecting too much from this one. It hits the palate nicely, so the beer has at least one saving grace.

DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2006
Bottle 28/08/2001 Golden coloured in appearance. Some hops present. Nothing by way of flavour here.

iammadeofjelly (194) - Liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2005
Tastes a bit like coors gone bad, if you chill it down to cold it aint so bad, it really aint, beats carling dont it?

kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - AUG 28, 2005
Bottle (Tescos): Clear orange with a fizzy short head. Not much in the nose apart from some stale malts and a bit of tin. Flavour is much the same, though with a slight citrusy twist. Long metallic aftertaste. Boring and thin.

imdownthepub (15131) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2005
Bottled, 660 ml, Pasteurised. Orange colour with fizzed head. Light lemony lager beer with a heafty CO2 swack, left me burping for hours. Hard to discern flavours in the gassy mass, but what I found wasn’t too bad. OK.

Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2005
Bottle - Tesco Biere Speciale. Once warm quite unpleasant - corn and rough finish. When chilled completely unexceptonal but drinkable.
