   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
brugmanneke (283) - - DEC 3, 2012
(50 cl bottle) Dark golden, hazy beer with a small, quickly disappearing head. Aroma has notes of caramel/butterscotch, tobacco leaves and smoke (though much less than in their Rauchbier), but also grassy hops, cereals, and yeast. Light bitterness with a touch of sweetness. Smooth and creamy. Well-balanced. I suddenly feel like I’m sitting in a Franconian Biergarten... ;o)

Bottle courtesy of Astrid K. Il gusto al naso risponde all’orzo.

Hazy golden from the look of the krug. Aroma had fresh bisquit malt and noble hops. Flavor was dry with notes of floral hops and fresh malt. Finished dry and bitter. Perfect balance.

Bottle. Aroma is mildly grainy, yeasty, a fun fruit bubblegum note as well. Taste is the same. Fun, nothing special.

kajser27 (2028) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 1, 2016
Golden colored, bit unclear, medium to small white non lasting head, nice lacing. Aroma is malty grains, some bread and yeast, light fruit, bit straw. Taste is medium to low sweet malt, grains, sulphur, yeasty bread, low to medium grassy-straw bitterness, dry finish and bitter after. Medium to light bodied, soft+ carbonation. Bit buttery.

bottle from landbierparadies. very clear - unkellerbier-like, apple juice colour; aroma of rusty pipes and hosed-down footpath; modest tinny bitterness, slightly musty malt character. would have expected more from a normally solid brewery

ThirstyBird (2996) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2015
Poured from a swing-top, a golden color with a hint of haze and a loose cream colored head. The smell is grass, toasted malt, faint hint of caramel. The taste is as it smells ending dry and slightly herbal. The body is light with a fairly low carbonation level. Decent.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, hazy, smaller off-White head; sweetish bready-grainy nose with a peaceful "woody" hoppy Background; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, not light bodied, quite soft; lingering mild "rural2 hoppy and pale-malty finish. Not bad, it’s understood, but still a bit too sweet...

MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - AUG 22, 2014
