From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Fischer La Belle Strasbourgeoise". Clear medium gold color. Small bubbly white head with small bead bubble carbonation. Malty fruit like aroma. Sweet tangy flavor has an underlying dryness. Light dry finish and aftertaste. Flavorful, yet not distinctive.

Really high carbonation. Smells aggressively like malt. Taste is hard to discern through its fizzy texture.

zapach niezbyt przyjemny, ostry, lekki aceton, jabłka, pestki, trochę gorzkich ziół, alkoholu i kwiaty gdzieś w tle. nie jest odrzucający. kolor złoty, dość głęboki, klarowny, piana biała, średnio obfita i krótka. w smaku raczej wytrawne, lekko słodowe, sporo kurzu, pestek z jabłek, lekko kwaśne i papierowe. goryczka niewielka, lekko ziołowa, alkoholowa i kurzowa. nasycenie średnie.

bottiglia 65 cl, schiuma bianca grana grossa evanescente, colore oro limpido, al naso malto e note erbacee, carbonatazione moderata, in bocca malto e leggero limone, corpo molto piatto watery, amaro quasi inesistente corta nel finale, non ti rimane in bocca niente.

Nie ma co si? rozpisywac. Barwa z?ota w kierunku slomkowej. Piana obfita, szybko opada. W aromacie czu? niewiele, jednak?e nic wartego uwagi. Lekka slodowosc. W smaku dziwne, jednocze?nie s?odkie i delikatnie tabletkowo gorzkie. Wersja z eleganckiej butelki.

FOR MY AMERICAN FRIENDS : I read here that the French created this beer to avoid being invaded by the Germans again. That’s inexact. The French done this crap to give the Americans the opportunity to satisfy their pathetic need of French bashing and give them the impression that the Bud is a good beer... Cheers !

Slightly darker than golden, average white head, decent retention. Smell of cereal malts and sweet fruity notes (fruit in syrup i would say). Taste follows the aroma with average sweetness and very light bitterness, with just a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. Light bodied, average carbonation, a bit oily and slightly sticky. Overall a bit richer than your usual mass market lager, but still not good.
