(bottle) clear golden colour with a frothy white head. very strange aroma of bubble gum, candle wax and acetone, with some big notes of müsliriegel, banana skins and caramel. flavour is mostly herbal hops and caramelized grain, heavily metallic, with some notes of dried apricots and a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

Tap at a Bar in Tübingen. Nose is faint notes of citrus, grass. Palate is a bit sweet watery, but nice with a bit of tartness and Apple. This is the Best of the Three fischers I tried.

Bottle. A quickly fading head leaves a grainy, hay-like aroma, and a matchinh taste, with a slightly spicy quality. One of those uninteresting German beers.

bartlebier (4123) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 24, 2015
33cl swingtop from Edeka TÜ. Mild, Keller-like Swabian Helles with filtered and aromatic golden malts and a consentual helping of noble hops. Well-defined lean body. Easy drinking with a timid regional, almost BIO character. Still tastier than hippish Wulle or anything made by Dinkelacker in neighbouring Benztown further up the Neckar.

Keg at Against The Grain, Dublin. It pours a clean golden color with a small white head. Aroma is quite sweet with notes of grains, hay and aluminium. Taste is mildly grainy, medium sweet with notes of citrus, hay and wet soil. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, ok lager

Very light golden pour with a slight white head that disappeared quickly. Nice carbonation. Slight cracker nose. Mild earthy hops and just a hint of bitterness. Easy to drink. Refreshing.

2.2
Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 10, 2014
This one is a touch more golden than the Keller and has next to none of the puffy white head, rather a smattering of coarse bubbles. A snort reveals grainy characters in the aroma and noting atypical of European lager. There is a little bit of grainy sweetness in the flavour and some vaguely coarse carbonation. Maybe it didn’t travel well, but this beer was not really remarkable in any meaningful or positive way.
