22 oz. bomber from Emerald Liquor. Nice colorful label and amusing name, and kudos for being organic. Aroma is spicy, nutty, bread, with slight pine notes. Pours hazy amber/orange with a decent white head and spotty lacing. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, light and refreshing with enough malt backbone to give it body. The Santiam hops add a spiciness and uniqueness to the flavor. Palate is light to medium body, slick texture, average carb., and balanced finish. It reminds me of a classic British pale ale. Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent hazy looking orange color with a quickly dissipating one finger white foamy head. There was some light lacing that slid into the beer.
The smell had some roasty dried caramel malts that showed some light sweetness. Also, there were some light nuts.
The taste was mainly sweet but also had a decent roasty dried caramel.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a slight watery finish.
Overall, weird beer. I guess it’s just weird beer night. Would I have this again, probably not on purpose but I still could be swayed if I had to. HighlanderOne (1330) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Poured from bottle. I smell malt, and fruit. Dark a amber, no head to speak of. Sweet malt flavor with lager hops in flavor. I taste cherry, which works well with the malt. Earth and citrus in aftertaste. A bit watery in feel. Pretty good and different. 50belair (3643) - Florida, USA - JUN 11, 2014
On tap at the brewpub. Clear amber pour with an off white head. Malty bouquet. Big malty notes. Average body and mouthfeel. penstemon (224) - Washington, USA - MAY 30, 2014
Pours clear deep amber with an off-white head, not much lacing. Malts dominate the aroma, slightly sweet grain, honeyed biscuit, and cracker. Also soft hop aromas that are floral, grassy and citrusy. Taste is rye crispbread, grain, a bit peppery, and very light hop flavor (citrus and floral). Light bitterness. Light-medium body, soft, smooth carbonation. A little bland but easy drinking.

On tap. Amber with a nice head. Breadlike maltiness with floral hops. OK, but not one to remember. Arthaey (17) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Very smooth, malty amber without much hop bitterness. No real aroma to speak of, but it's a beautiful amber color. I'd be happy to drink this again. Hypo_Luxa (59) - Osaka, JAPAN - MAR 12, 2014
bitter sweet, med bodied, bit of a soapy mouth feel, but not all that bad. Caramel malts leads nicely into the Hallertauer hops. Short citrusy punch at the end. Aftertaste is honey and caramel. Not a bad beer, but not great. Would be really nice on a hot spring day. ccex (1313) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 7, 2014
Bomber pours an almost clear amber with small disappearing white head. Aroma is caramel malts and weak hops. Taste is mostly sweet with slight bitterness in the finish. Body is medium with average carbonation and a soapy mouthfeel. OK for an amber, but not one I’ll eagerly try again. Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 29, 2013
