Fish Tale Organic India Pale Ale is a medium-bodied beer with a rich golden color. The organic pale and crystal malts lay down a firm malt body. This provides the backbone for an assertive hop profile featuring organic Pacific Gem. The moment the Mighty Fish Brewers sampled this pungent and resinous New Zealand hop, they knew it would be perfect for their Organic I.P.A. The result: A Cascadian treasure.

Not the best IPA I've had, and I'm tired of every other word on the bottle being 'Organic', as if that was the only good selling point. Otherwise, it had a good hoppy flavor, but nothing special, and no real subtle fruity flavors that I look for in a distinct IPA.

The ad is on the money! Perfectly communicated. So good. I could flow for days on this brewski. Just nice. The malt & hops mix pleasant on stomach. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Imazato. Dark amber, cloudy, with lace. Nose of caramel, pine, resin, some citrus. Bready, toasty malt flavor, some caramel, lots fo pine. Old school. Ok..

RSRIZZO (2020) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 20, 2016
12oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 40°. Color is a hazy gold with good carbonation and a rocky white head. Aroma is hoppy with a back note of malt. It has a medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is malt, a slight fruitiness, then a nice bitter kick. After taste is more bitterness and hop spice that gives white pepper. Overall it’s a good IPA, well balanced and tasty, but nothing special.

12 oz bottle. Scent is of olives, yet not unappealing. Definitely a heavy caramel hit followed by earthy citrus and lingering bitterness. I’m finding this one enjoyable but just a bit above average.

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Sweet malty caramel nose, light citrus. Clear gold/copper color, frothy head which descends into lines of thin cirrus clouds. Hard hit of caramel at first, then a soft saggy pillow of bittering. The malt seems musty and earthy. Medium-heavy body. Perfunctory nose. Big malty flavors but, as above, not completely pleasant.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 19, 2016
Bottle: Served in a Duvel glass: Small creamy head. Beautiful hazy yellow beer. Aromas hops, orange fruit, creamy fruit, floral and light herbal, some yeast and crispy fruit tints. Nothing crazy or overhopped, but good aroma. Flavours of fruity and hoppy tones, floral, light yeasty, some bitters, yellow orange fruit, crisp and tasty! Aftertaste is fruity, floral, hoppy, bitter, nice. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Nice

IslandHaole (1294) - Misawa, JAPAN - MAR 1, 2016
Medium/deep golden with a slight haze & small off-white head. Sweet caramel malt & floral/citrus hops. Bitter, dusty, sticky, solid hops with rock candy sweet malts hidden just under the surface. Surprisingly light and easy drinking at 6.5% ABV.

[2/2/16] Bottle at Yonatan’s place in Oakland. Hazy golden. Stale hops aroma. Flavor has faint sweetness, and decent bitter citric hops, a bit stale. Medium-bodied.

Capa (3400) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Hazy orange with a small head. Aroma is tropical fruit and floral hops with a malty base. Lingering medium bitter lemon notes that turns sweet right as it clears. Solid pint.

bnoel09 (588) - Elk Grove, California, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Poured from the 12oz bottle into a shaker glass. Amber color with no real head. Aroma is mild and bready. Flavor has some light breadiness with floral and resinous hops. Medium bodied with a long finish. Not super bitter but nicely balanced.
