Bottle. Nice visuals to start it off ... deep black, thick tan head, although it cedes quickly. Equally appealing aroma ... and the flavor is rich with smoky roast and a bit of very dark coffee. Good stuff. (#5747, 9/21/2014) slowrunner77 (12466) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 6, 2014
"One of the chocolateyist not chocolate stouts I’ve ever had. Heavily roasted and herbal aroma and flavor as well. Low bitterness and a little nutty. A little prickly but otherwise a pleasant surprise." Stout82 (1) - - SEP 4, 2014 does not count
Aroma of burnt coffee and dark roasted pecans.
Very dark color with tan light brown head.
Super toasty and notes of black Patton.
Creamy and smooth with a long lasting finish.
Great for the price. Can be enjoyed with a good bowl on chili.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 2/2014. Pours nearly pitch black color with a 1 finger dense tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted malt, molasses, dark bread, toasted oats, light char, and roasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roasted malt and toasted oat notes; with solid strength. Taste of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted malt, dark bread, toasted oats, light char, and roasted earthiness. Good amount of roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roast, dark bread, toasted oats, light char, and roasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and robustness of dark/roasted malt and toasted oat flavors; with a nice roasted bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with smooth, creamy, and slightly chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good oatmeal stout. All around good complexity and balance of dark/roasted malt and toasted oat flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering. Draft at brewpub, listed as "Over and Out." Very roasty -- finish of bitter coffee grounds. Pours dark, opaque, nearly black; khaki head, irregular lacing. Some caramel, chocolate, and cardboard. Medium+ body; ashy, roasty. Smooth texture.

Pours almost black. Odd vegetal notes with a little flint and roasted malt flavor wise. Smooth on the palate with a medium body. Not the best combination of flavors. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAY 24, 2014
12-oz. Pours jet black with a dense and creamy burnt tan head that goes away right away. No lace. Big sweet bitter chocolate nose. Creamy thick smooth body with soft carb. Bitter sweet chocolate mid palate with a long dry finish. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Bottle. Overall solid oatmeal stout. Smooth and rich, deep black, soft carbonation. Roasted and chocolate flavors. dwyerpg (6286) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 7, 2014
Rate Beer needs to add Over ’N’ Out as an alternate name for this. Looks beautiful, dark brown head and opaque oil-black body. Has a light Rasputin-like feel to it. A serious thickness, pretty good. Just a tad too sweet for me at the moment. Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 27, 2014
12oz bottle (labelled as Over & Out) pours with a nice dark body that supports a mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up malt sweetened dark roasted malts, some nice chocolate notes and then more chocolate up to the end of the draw. The taste delivers a pleasing dark roastiness mixed with sweet malts and lots of chocolate. To midway a brief dark roasted coffee note comes forward and helps take this tasty beer to the finish. Pretty solid tasting brew that has a smooth mouth feel.
