Had this on nitro. Solid black. Aroma of roast malt and milky sweetness. Taste is roasty as well, but there is still a little more sweetness than I’d like. Thin nitro texture.
Nice oatmeal stout. The aroma has roast malt and somecoffee. The flavor follows. Very smooth and creamy. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 5, 2015
Bottle. Pours a flat black body under a small foamy dark brown head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is roasty and sweet with some nice coffee, chocolate, and oatmeal notes. The flavor is pretty solid, slightly sweet from the oatmeal up front, some nice dark chocolate, some burnt coffee, roastiness, and a light malt derived bitterness. Really a pretty solid all around Sweet Stout. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with soft gentle carbonation. Pretty good stuff, I like the balance of sweetness and roastiness. Bottle with different art to my trusty shaker glass. Pours the darkest brown, no light passes though the shaker. Small, quick light brown head with some lacing but no real retention. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is mainly sweet with a little bitterness in the back. Medium bodied, average carbonation, creamy oat mouth feel. Finishes bittersweet. Lots of tasting notes in addition to above, some nuts, smoke, a touch of vanilla and burnt sugar. Wow this brew really surprised me, must have been the label!

Pours a rich dark brown. The head is minimal marble head and goes down very quickly. Aroma of roast malts and chocolate. Flavor of dark chocolate and malts. Relatively light and smooth in the mouth for the amount of flavor. Pretty good little stout. r464 (2360) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 1, 2015
Deep dark color with a tan head. Roasty, malty, smooth. Toast, coffee, and a long finish. Alcohol content is well hidden. A nice stout. alobar (3759) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 10, 2015

Winter Beer Fest, Philly: Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate, a bit of coffee, and a healthy bit of roasted malts. Taste is around the same areas. Somewhat bitter. Dark chocolate. Pretty smooth. Easy to drink. All good, except for the terrible label. Oh dear. jgb9348 (6198) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 18, 2014
Deep dark brown coloured body with only the smallest amount of brown tints getting through when held upto a light. All, wiht a very thin, half a centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of oatmeal, alcohol, grain, roasted malt, molasses, coffee and some earth - strong and pungent. Medium-bodied; Rich roasted malt flavours coupled with cereal, alcohol, raisins, molasses, caramel, figs and a lot of raisins and prunes at the end. Aftertaste shows some earthiness, mushrooms and a little caramel flavour, but a lot of roasted malt and prune notes to finish this off. Overall, a deep and long-lasting beer with a good, but not great profile. The pour made it appear that this would be better with a slightly better body, but this was simply good, but not outstanding. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 30-March-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-November-2014.
