bottle. it has a black color with a medium head. the aroma and the taste is roasty and slight buttery. nice beer.
Old bottle from the rotter. Nose is sherry and alcohol, boozy with some dark fruit, raisin, plum. Aroma indicates awesome! Black in color, minimal head. Taste is mostly bitter chocolate with a light fig taste, sticky. Some residual sugar on the lips. Seems to have aged very nicely. Just a tad thin likely from oxidation and age. Otherwise real good. Minimal alcohol warming. I’ll finish this one! fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - APR 6, 2014
honestly not sure how old this bottle is. 2006? is it done every year still? either way, pretty bland. Thisis12ptfont (1232) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Aroma’s of wood, oak, maple and aged malts. Black in appearance with a very thin foam rim. Aged flavors of charcoal, cocoa, wood and oak. Extremely dry with chocolate on the finish. Overall, this is a decent imperial stout. Very dry with strongly oak aged flavors. I’d give this a B+ rating. ben4321 (6830) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 9, 2013

Aroma: The nose has coffee, chocolate, other dark malts, bread, roast, and peat
Appearance: It pours a dark brown-black color with a small tan head
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, it leans sweet, and tastes a little older and dustier
Palate: The body is is rather creamy and smooth, and it is extremely easy to drink
This one tasted old, but it didn’t taste bad. I liked it quite a bit, but I felt like the flavor did suffer a bit from it’s age.

650ml bottle pours black in color with a finger and a half of light brown head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is dominated by chocolate with some coffee and hints of pine and citrus. Taste is a chocolate malty sweetness followed up with a bit of coffee and citrus hop bitterness and a trace of pine needles. Medium to heavy body with modest carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. A very well done brew for the style and one of my favorites, can’t wait to try this one again. marcus (10869) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 20, 2012
Bottle from Beverages 4 Less. Pours dark brown with a modest tan head and a chocolate and treacle aroma. There is a chocolate and dark molasses flavor with a dry slightly sour finish. BelgianBeerGal (4249) - Panama City, Florida, USA - NOV 30, 2011
12oz bottle from Wade’s Wines. This might have some age on it but its still tasty. The hops have mostly faded but left sweet coffe to dominate the flavor. No hint of the alcohol too. Nice.
