Tripplebrew (778) - Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA - SEP 24, 2009
Pours a hazy orange gold with thick white head. Aroma is definitely apricot and sugar. Flavor is mild apricot/yeast with a sweet spice. Well-balanced.

DalzAle (2040) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Growler pour. Hazy orange colored pour, little carbonation and rich apricot aroma. Flavor is funky yeasty wheat, apricot and finishes a little on the sour side. One of my favorite apricot beers, I just wish I didn’t have to drive 2-3 hours to pick it up.

Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - JUL 26, 2009
Sample at the brewpub. Clear dark gold pour. Sweet apricot aroma. Big apricot flavor, some light malts, very smooth, I seem to of had alot of smooth beers on this trip.

TAP: cloudy yellow/gold pour, aroma of apricot - very nice. Wheat, apricot, and carbonation on taste. Nice brew.

incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2008
Tap at the pub. Lots of apricot in the nose. Fairly sweet, with aproicot and bread coming threw. Im not huge on the fruit aspect of this, but does have that apricot jam aspect that is tasty in small doses.

Draft. Arborfest 2008. Lush apricot aroma with traces of cantaloupe and honeydew. Pours a cloudy bright light orange. Flavor of creamy wheat esters and apricot marmalade. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. A dusty, dry hay-like finish distracts from the simple and refreshing qualities of the beer.

islay (3115) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 6, 2008
3 oz. pour, on tap at the brewhouse. This was the seventh of 9 Fitger’s beers I tried on 4-4-08. Aroma of apricot in all forms (fresh, canned, nectar). Sweet, honey smell. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold. Tastes exactly like the name implies: apricot nectar crossed with a light American wheat ale. It tastes fine, but apricot nectar alone would be better. Apricot skin flavor as well. Light body. Smooth and lively in the palate.

undsioux7 (872) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2007
sample at pub. A nice mixture of grainy wheat and peach. The apricot doesn’t overtake the beer but sits in the background.

Had this one on draught as part of the sampler flight at the brewery in Duluth, Minnesota. Cloudy, medium golden pour with a thick white head, sweet apricot and peach nose, very sweet and bready throughout. Very good, especially for the style!

Nuffield (4245) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUN 30, 2007
Hazy yellow. Glorious apricot--I love it when the fruit really shines through in a authentic (not artificial) way. Fresh, yummy, drinkable. Fizzy. I’m such a sucker for a well-made fruit beer. (on tap at brewpub)
