Draft at the brewery. This is a ruddy-looking beer and starts like many D/IIPAs; overall it’s drinkable, but side by side with their flagship pale ale, I prefer the pale ... this has a nutty aspect that takes over that didn’t tickle my palate in the right way. Dark amber / copper pour from a growler obtained last weekend. Nice white head and lots of white lacing. Big lovely hoppy nose with a hint of citrus and malt. Big earthy and spicy hops in the taste with a strong bitter finish. Full mouthfeel. Nice.

Poured from a growler. Aroma is pine, citrus, and caramel. Flavors are pine, lemon, citrus, orange peel, and a very light malt. Very nice Ipa, pretty balanced not to bitter at all. My first fitgers beer loved it! kathouse (1875) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 30, 2013

Filtered orange-tan. Nice dry strong hop mouthfeel. A solid US IPA, above par. Full bodied and bittter, the filtration really lets the hops shine.
