Cask, Keg & Bottle; Regular.

A full bodied, aromatic Red Rye ale brewed with malted barley, the addition of 20% Rye to the recipe, and with Chinook, Columbus and Simcoe hops. We think the Rye in the recipe gives some dryness and spice, and the hops add a dash of pine and passion fruit, but see what you think, everyone’s taste buds are different. This is an incredibly flavoursome Red Ale, full of lots of interesting tastes and aromas.

Bottle. Reddish amber coloured beer with a very strong slightly off white head. The aroma is well hopped, and the flavour is well hopped with bags of bitterness and dryness. Overall a nice amber coloured well hopped beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Towey1989 (2827) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2015
Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A murky deep amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, red berries, pine, strawberry jam and floral hops. Taste of red berries, strawberry, caramel, a hint of chocolate, resin, grapefruit and floral hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry but fruity finish with some resinous bitterness at the end. Tasted like a Dime bar at first and then a splash of strawberry and berry jam, also citrus and resinous bitterness running through it. A well made amber ale, enjoyed it.
