Bottle at home. Piney nose. Good hop flavour and a nice bitter bite. Subtly citrus. Nice. RichTheVillan (8443) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2015
Bottle from at Cotteridge Wines; clear chestnut brown pour with a frothy tan head aroma has a hint of smoke and light pine, taste has caramel, dark fruits, autumn path, some earthiness. Towey1989 (3435) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2015
Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A murky deep amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, red berries, pine, strawberry jam and floral hops. Taste of red berries, strawberry, caramel, a hint of chocolate, resin, grapefruit and floral hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry but fruity finish with some resinous bitterness at the end. Tasted like a Dime bar at first and then a splash of strawberry and berry jam, also citrus and resinous bitterness running through it. A well made amber ale, enjoyed it. Gravity cask at the Cambridge Beer Festival 2015. Amber/copper, a bit cloudy. Light aroma with toast, red berry and a hint of pine. The taste though. Wow. Intensely resinous, a sweet spicy hop bomb augmented by the sweet spiciness of the rye. Long, oily, piney finish. Lovely. Martinus (4737) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - MAY 17, 2015
Reddish brown amber colour, white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, straw, light herbs. Sweet flavour, caramel. Very fizzy. Sweet finish, paper.Nocturne (2238) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2015
(from draught @ The Cock Tavern, visited during RBESG 2014, London)
Keg at Jack in the Box, Altrincham. Hazy orange/light red shade. Nice fluffy head, some lacing too. Decent hop character. Pithy, sherbet, zingy fruits. Bit soapy at times. Caramel malty backbone. Slight sweetness lurking amongst the bitterness. Decent amber. Tonkatruck (42) - SPAIN - APR 22, 2015

liked the edge of rye. wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2015
Bottle, Londis, Penny Lane, Liverpool. Reddish amber pour, with a meek tan head. Some earthy hop and fruit in the beak. Good fruity hops coupled up with some sweet malts and fruits flavour wise, followed by a solid bitter linger in the finish. Some promise here.
