Excellent coffee, chocolate porter. Dark bitter roasted malt with a wonderful texture in the mouth. One of the best stouts I've had for a long time. On keg at 1000 trades in the JQ, Brum

Cask gravity, MABfest 2.0, Twisted Barrel, Coventry, 25/02/16. As advertised with a disinterested tan halo. Nose of coffee grounds and burnt twigs. Good smokey coffee and chocolate linger. Burnt sugar puffs. Solid stout, if a trifle flimsy

FatPhil (17513) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 16, 2017
Draught (Doric Arch, London) (7+:4+:7:4:15=3.7++)
Blackish, small spongy head. Lovely rich chocolatey aroma. Full palate, but with a sweet mellowness, and enticing esters in the retronasals. Taste also chocolatey. Good dry hopping, keeps me thirsty with the dryness. A beautiful well-hopped stout.
