Tap at Brewdog Birmingham at the Fixed Wheel Showcase event 23/12/16. Poured a clear medium brown with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet roasty malt, light creamy caramel, dry coffee, chocolate. Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. Very dark brown with cream head. Roasted malts. some tarry hints, liquorice with a sweet caramel note. The caramel flavour lingers along with chocolate, quite smooth overall. Reasonable beer.
