On tap at bar. Pours a dark black with off white head. Aromas of herbs and mature sour cherries. Taste is sour red berries and unripe coffee. Uncommonly sour for a stout (sour note is new according to an earlier taster), but interesting

Flaske fra ica kråkerøy. Svart farge, lavt karbonert med beige skumtopp. Smaker svartbrent malt, kaffe og nøtter. Ganske fornøyelig

Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, nuts and some berries in the aroma. Black with a tan head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a really enjoyable Stout, but would like a bit less carbonation.

larsga (7508) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 4, 2015
Small brown head. Opaque black body goes deep dark brown at edges. Earthy roasty chocolatey aroma with mealy notes. Dry-sweet earthy roasty mealy taste with resiny fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel, maybe a bit flat. Dryish earthy mealy cold coffee aftertaste with wooden sooty notes. Lovely clarity and depth of flavour. A very good beer. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Strømmen. I think it says batch no 74.)
