My Norwegian rating # 1000. Bottle from Meny Oslo City.
Lovely notes of roasted grain. Nuts, malt, coffee and chocolate. Clean and elegant, for a new brewery this is very impressive. gunnar (9085) - Sandnes, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2013
Bottle kindly provided by Kåre, who bought this one in Skien. Batch # 14. Pours very dark brown with a big creamy tanned head. Aroma of nutty malts, liquorice and fruity hops. Taste is light sweet, roasted caramel, smooth & creamy mouthfeel, very nice fruity and herbal hops towards the finish, very good beer, with a delicate mouthfeel, very moreish.

Dark brown with a nice head. Smells really good. Taste follows the smell and tops off with a nice hoppy tone. I often get dissapointed with brown ales but this one impress me. Holmen1 (5868) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JAN 31, 2014
HansFrost (4) - NORWAY - OCT 30, 2013 does not count

Dark brown hazy, creamy tanned head. Smells lightly of roast, then nuts, hints of dried fruits and malts. Light sweet, quite fruity of yeast and malts. Moderate bitter finish. A very playful brew.
500 ml bootle, batch #2, kindly shared by my beerpal Olav. ABV is 4.6%. Cloudy brown colour, moderate beige head. Nice aroma of lightly toasted malts and fruity (American?) hops. The flavour is not too sweet, and has a nice balance between the nutty malts and the fruity and slightly spicy hops. I like it! A good start from this brand new micro brewery. Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a dense nougat brown body with a medium creamy light beige head. Nose is hazelnuts, grains, nougat, brown malts and hints of straw and faint diacetyl. Taste is sweet grainy tones, brown malts, bread and hints of hazelnuts and biscuits. Bitter finish with some herbal touches. Medium body and carbonation. Very tasty and pleasant brown ale; perhaps the best of its kind in the grocery segment in Norway right now. visionthing (5334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 29, 2013
50cl bottle. Pours clear hazy reddish brown with a lasting beige head. Malty and slightly bready aroma with hints of dark fruits. Moderate sweet with hints of sourness and a mild bitterness. Flavourful and tasty! A nice and pleasant surprise!
