(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Cloudy, dark amber colour with a short beige foamy layer. Sweet toast-malty and Coriander-spicy aroma with notes of anise, a tinge of caramel and shy hoppy notes. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly toasty, malt-accented taste with berry-fruity notes and caramel; toasty and quite lasting malty finish with notes of coriander, a tinge of chocolate; also quite dry with a light hops character and a slightly burnt aftertaste. Bottle: Hazy, mahagony coloured, mid-sized, slowly diminishing beige head. Moderate fruity (dried fruits) and roast-malty nose. dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied. Lingering - with an increasing bitterness - dryish bitter finish. More an english than a belgian ale.......... Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 3, 2008
Thank you Fonefan! The color is hazy, dark, red mahogany and the head is almost non-existing. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, light sweetness, light sourness and hints of spice. The flavour has light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, candy sugar, hints of coriander, light licorise and anise and the finish is slightly dry and citrussy. It’s very like the Kyndelmisse, just with added spices. charlotte (5417) - rødovre, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2008

Bottle. Nice golden colour, short head. Sweet, bit yeasty and fruity aroma. Flat mouthfeel. The flavour is a bit sweet with malt and fruits. yngwie (17186) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 30, 2008
Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. It was poured with a murky brown body and a small beige head. Caramel-sweet, fruity-sweet, some fruity hops and a banana-like aroma escapes the glass. The flavor is fruity and sweet, with malt and a little sourness, leading to a sweet and spiced finish. Medium body. Sure one of the best from Fjordens, they haven’t impressed me so far, but this one is repeatable. (080229) joergen (28992) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 8, 2008
